Coating and Frying Lines

Coat and Fry design and manufacture process lines to batter, breadcrumb and flash fry many different and varied products including chilled or frozen meat, fish and vegetable products.

There are several types of coating processes which are based on the following three machines:-

    • Breadcrumb applicator/Preduster
    • "Dip-type" Batter Enrober (usually used for thick Tempura-style batters)
    • "Curtain type" Batter Enrober (used for thin or adhesive batters)

The most popular belt widths for these machines are 200mm, 400mm and 600mm but larger equipment can be supplied.

The subsequent flash frying process is performed on a purpose-built conveyorised fryer available in standard effective frying widths to match the coating equipment supplied. Effective frying lengths can range from 1.5 metres to 5 metres. A range of conveyor configurations is available to suit almost any product..
